Our Big Day - August 12, 2006

It's hard to believe our wedding day is over, but as people forewarned us, it's passed by in a breath!! Now here we are into our 2nd week as newlyweds! It's been busy, busy, busy, but I'm posting some pics for my cousins in SA and London to check out. Thanks to my groomsman EK for these pics...

T minus 3 days

I think preparing for a wedding is almost as stressful as going through final examinations during med school - this is pretty stressful stuff!! Driving here and there...meetings with people.......Staying up late to revise the seating plan - arrgh....I'll sure be glad when this is all over! One thing that really is nice though is the opportunity to connect with friends and family from afar. I am especially touched by my cousing coming from South Africa for my wedding, and my cousins from London. It's great to be able to reminisce with her about the games we played as kids and the fun and adventures in the huge back yard of bricks and spiders and all things that had 6 or 8 legs. Four more sleeps until the big day!
